Philosophy

We are a non profit organization run by a volunteer parent and community board which meets approximately every 3 months.

One parent of each Kindergarten child attending It Takes A Village Kindergarten is expected to attend board meetings every 2-3 months (held in the evening on a weeknight for approximately 1-1.5 hours). One parent from each family is required to attend each mandatory AGM meeting in May (prior to Kindergarten and during current year of school).

Our Administrator/Teacher is a Service Dog Puppy Raiser with PADS (www.pads.ca) so please be aware that service pups in training are in the classroom.

Participation in the preschool or older siblings attending previously is not a guarantee of a spot in the It Takes a Village Kindergarten class.

This is not a first come-first serve process. It Takes a Village reserves the right to hold spots for funded children.
